I have looked at a lot of ‘web design’ degrees and have found them all to be missing in basic theory. They seem to lean towards technological wizardry, but away from the fundamental core of design theory.

whatever program you find, make sure that it has an brilliant overall design specialty and requires a lot of theory and the fine arts.
